Authorization and Release of Liability

I authorize Truedata Recovery Solutions, Inc. to provide data recovery services on the media/equipment described in the case/ticket referenced above. I acknowledge that Truedata Recovery Solutions, Inc. and its technicians are not responsible for any data loss related to the data recovery process. I further acknowledge that coincidental issues may arise during the recovery process that are unrelated to any prior corrections or repairs made to the media/equipment.
I authorize Truedata Recovery Solutions, Inc. to perform data recovery services and acknowledge the release of liability as described above.
Acknowledgment of Terms

I confirm that I have reviewed and approved the data recovery quote provided by Truedata Recovery Solutions, Inc. I acknowledge that the condition of the media may extend the estimated timelines and that donor parts are single-use items, with multiple parts sometimes needed to complete the recovery.

Data Recovery Disclaimer

Truedata Recovery Solutions, Inc. does not guarantee that Important Data will be recovered. All recovery efforts are performed on a best-effort basis. Updates will be provided only if there is a problem, additional information is needed, media is recovered, or media is deemed unrecoverable. Completion is contingent on the condition of the media.
I understand that data recovery is on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of recovery, and updates are provided as described above.
Warranty and Liability

Opened items and tested drives may void manufacturer warranties. Truedata Recovery Solutions, Inc. is not responsible for encrypted media including ransomware, BitLocker, or password-protected drives. Physical damage and encryption are treated as separate issues. Additional costs may apply for virtual disks/images on physically damaged drives.
I acknowledge that manufacturer warranties may be voided and that the company is not responsible for encryption-related issues.
Data Transfer and Storage

Recovered data will be transferred to a customer-provided or purchased external drive. A free 32GB USB stick is available if the recovered data fits within that capacity. Customers may supply a blank external HDD USB only or flash drive. All storage media will be formatted before transfer.
I understand the data transfer and storage terms, including that recovered data is transferred to customer-provided or purchased media.
Payment and Cancellation

Payment is due in full before shipping, pickup, or download unless prior arrangements have been made. A cancellation fee of 20% of the quoted service fee applies if the service is cancelled. Full payment is required if data has been fully recovered and the service is then cancelled. Recovered data will be deleted two weeks after the customer claims it unless otherwise notified.

Equipment and Diagnostic Fees

Items left over 45 days become company property and will be disposed of to free shelf space. Free diagnostics are provided for all media except RAID drives and mobile devices. Truedata Recovery Solutions, Inc. is not responsible for data loss after service completion and pickup.
I understand the equipment retention policy 45 days, diagnostic fee exceptions, and post-service data loss terms.
Client Confidentiality

Truedata Recovery Solutions, Inc. maintains strict client confidentiality. All information, data, and equipment are deemed confidential and proprietary. No information will be disclosed to third parties. A Non-Disclosure Agreement NDA is available upon request.
I acknowledge the client confidentiality policy and that an NDA is available upon request.
Limitation of Liability

I agree to hold Truedata Recovery Solutions, Inc., its owners, and technicians harmless for any coincidental damages including but not limited to business interruption, permanent data loss, data corruption, or delayed delivery. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, data, or profits, connected with data recovery services.
I agree to the limitation of liability and hold the company harmless for any damages as described above.
